Workshop description Breathe Whether you have an existing yoga or writing practice, or are new to one or both, this workshop is for you. The soothing and uplifting combination of merging poetry, writing and yoga will bring forth a new way of calming the mind and body while accessing vital creative energy. Facilitated by a yoga instructor and a certified poetry therapist, participants will be guided through gentle yoga, while listening to the recitation of poetry based on the poses. Afterwards, we will take a deeper look at the poems and go further into their personal meanings by doing some simple, yet thought provoking writing exercises. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your favorite pen and notebook. Experience poetry in motion. Back to top |
